Located in the 15th arrondissement just a short stroll from the Eiffel Tower and my apartment is one of the best hidden shopping streets in Paris.
Parisians shop here for the latest trends without the expensive price tags. You’ll find excellent selection of popular brand shops and small Parisian boutiques. You can also rest your feet and watch the locals from few cafes and restaurants on the Place du Commerce.

River banks
2.3km long green spaces and pedestrian walkaways along the Seine that you can enjoy now. A picturesque walk from the Eiffel Tower on the left bank, many animations along the way, 5 floating islands installed close to the Pont de l’Alma, offering innovative promenade with plants closely related to the water and small restaurants all the way to the heart of Paris near Hotel de Ville.

Paris Expo Porte de Versailles - A farm on the roofs
In the spring of 2020, Paris will host the largest urban farm in the world that will supply the restaurants of the site as well as the inhabitants of the district. It will be located on the top of pavilion 6 of the exhibition center of the Porte de Versailles. It will also host two hotels, a Mama Shelter and a Novotel!

Fancy a bike ride – the public Velib bicycle station is just in front of the building.
If you like to swim – a perfect opportunity to relax and unwind after long Parisian walks is to take a dip into our pool situated on the top 32nd floor of the building. Please note that it closes at 10PM. At the same time you might try some ping-pong or just enjoy a wonderful panoramic view of Paris.
If you like to jog, try it nearby on the L’ile des Cygnes (Swan Island), a green oasis right in the middle of the river Seine, where you’ll also encounter the small replica of the famous New York landmark, the statue of Liberty and have a great view of the Eiffel Tower. The Island is 850m long, and 400m away from our building.
In October 2012, the new sport facilities have been installed on the island to offer more versatile place dedicated to the practice of sport and physical activity (area, climbing walls, suspension ladders, bikes...). The works have been carried out around the Statue of Liberty with new lighting, landscaping new benches and chandeliers.

This is a safe, pleasant neighborhood where you will find many bakeries (famous Poilâne bakery), cheese shops (fromagerie), see food, grocery shops, supermarkets and wine shops close by. Most of them are clustered along the Rue de Lurmel , near Metro Duplex.

Traditional Parisian market with fresh products takes place on Wednesdays and Sundays – from 8AM to 2PM from the Metro Dupleix along Boulevard de Greneille.
Inexpensive supermarket in our area is Franprix. Monoprix is more expensive, but have larger selection and is situated close to Metro St Charles. HiMart (71 Bis Rue Saint- Charles), specialize in asian food.

La Javelle

La Javelle is a new guingette, a type of open-air Parisian drinking establishment, near the Parc André Citroën.
There is a different atmosphere during the day and night.
During the day you can come to relax alone, with friends or as a family and enjoy delicious Caribbean food, pizzas, tajines, Thai food, burgers, etc. In the evening you can dance to pop music on the terrace. Concerts, shows and Latin dance lessons also take place.
