The large concrete and green metal liner overlooking the Seine between the Gare de Lyon and Gare d'Austerlitz has opened its doors.

The industrial heritage of this former warehouse , dating from 1907 at the Port of Paris, has been preserved by the French architecture firm Jakob + MacFarlane and include several fashion and design spaces.

On it’s roof, you’ll find a large terrace with a modern bistro, restaurant, lounge bar and a nightclub.

Les globes de Coronelli à la Bibliothèque François Mitterrand

The Coronelli Globes Globes are a pair of large globes (terrestrial and celestial), 4 meters diameter, made by Vincenzo Coronelli and offered to Louis XIV in the late seventeenth century. The globe shows the state of European geographical knowledge between 1670-1680 of the three continents Asia, Africa, America, while the celestial globe include the state of the sky at the birth of Louis XIV.

The two spheres, one terrestrial and the other celestial, measured 387 centimeters in diameter and weigh about 2 tones each. Their frame is made of oak wood covered with canvas.

Bercy village

A paved courtyard bordered with white stone warehouses and quiet terraces - an architecture that combines stone with steel, wood and glass.

The Cour Saint-Emilion and its 42 warehouses is classed as a Historic Monuments, the last of the Bercy storage areas that for over a century held the largest wine market in the world.

Bercy is also a diverse area with shops, restaurants, leisure activities and entertainment spread over 15,000m² including CLUB Med World, FNAC Eveil et Jeux, G. Truffaut, Hippopotamus, Nature et Découverte, Nicolas, Résonances, Séphora B, Vinéa Café and the UGC Ciné Cité cinema multiplex.
