Paris Plage - Paris Beach
From the beginning of July to beginning of September
Inaugurated in 2002, Paris Beach is a free summer event that transforms several spots in Paris into beaches. From sunning in the sand to swimming in pools suspended over the Seine, kayaking, playing petanque, basketball and volleyball or enjoying free evening concerts, Paris Plage offers activities that both kids and adults will enjoy.
Cinéma au Clair de Lune - Moonlight Cinema
The great classics of French cinema, projected free at night in parks and gardens of Paris.
In summer, the Forum des Images invites the visitors to see the masterpieces of cinema.
Cinema in the moonlight, takes place in the Montmartre, the Place des Vosges, Parc Montsouris, the Trocadero gardens and the square René-Cassin.
Fête de Ganesh

London has its Jamaican festival in the shape of the Notting Hill Carnival, Paris its Indian parade - the Fête de Ganesh. The Little India district in the 18th arrondissement, comes alive for this colourful procession. Before the procession, a religious ceremony is held at the Sri Manicka Vinayakar Alayam Temple.
Traditionally, coconuts are cracked open as the flower- and fruit-decked float of the god Ganesh is carried through the throng.
Rock en Seine - Music event
This Festival is held in the Saint Cloud park just outside Paris. The three-day event offers excellent music groups and its chilled-out atmosphere and it a definite highlight of the city's musical calendar.
