Long haul flights in the economy class are no fun. The seats are small, noise level is high, entertainment is limited, headphones are do not provide a good sound and are very uncomfortable and much more.
Your total carry-on haul should be limited, but you may want to consider some of these relatively small items that will make you journey comfortable.
Oasis of piece and good sound
You can bring simple earplugs (sometimes provided by the airline) or you can invest in a quality pair of noise-canceling headphones.
My favorite travel gear
Bose QuietComfort 20i Acoustic Noise Canceling Headphones
These impressive noise-canceling headphones will bring you an oasis of silence on board and you’ll look forward to forgetting the sound of snoring passengers, and experience exceptional sound quality for music and films. Plus the lightweight design means a comfortable fit.
Don’t forget - Bose® headphones airline adapter
Cheaper option
Betron B-25
Noise Isolating in Ear Canal Headphones Earphones
With Pure Sound and Powerful Bass for iPhone, iPad, iPod, Samsung, Nokia, HTC , Mp3 Players etc (GunMetal)
Sleeping on the plane
Some people don’t have any problem falling asleep on the plane. I’m the exception and I need a few things that will make me comfortable enough to eventually fall asleep.
Three items I usually bring are the neck pillow, eye masks and noise-canceling headphones.
Depending of the way you can fall asleep on the plane here 4 different travel pillows to choose from.
