For the end of year celebrations, discover the City of Lights lit up by thousands of sparkling decorations, from Champs-Elysées to Sacré-Coeur.

As Christmas approaches, Paris turns into a brilliant gem of a thousand lights. Every year, in mid November, colored fairy lights and illuminated decorations dress over 150 streets and 70 neighborhood, streets and avenues.

Avenue Montaigne

The festivities will begin with the launch of the illuminations of the rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré by Anne Hidalgo, Mayor of Paris, followed by the inauguration of the Avenue Montaigne that will  lights up a thousand lights to celebrate the Christmas holidays 2019. Meet at the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées for the launch of the Christmas lights on Avenue Montaigne and Rue François 1er.

In addition to fairy lights, the Montaigne Committee presents its Christmas Tree Creators, who will be exhibited in front of the theater in November and auctioned for the benefit of cancer research. Each tree has been designed and decorated by one of the famous fashion houses of the Montaigne Avenue Committee, including Chanel, Christian Dior and the Pucci label.

These illuminations combine magic and energy control since they are low consumption LED bulbs that are now systematically used to enhance the Parisian pavement.
