How the Introduction Tour of Paris Works

I’ll meet you in your centrally located Paris hotel reception at the agreed time and date for a two-hour introduction to Paris tour that includes:

  1. Information about your hotel’s area

  2. Introduction to the metro (how to get tickets, read the map, and get around)

  3. Depending how far you are from the Parisian Sightseeing boats, we’ll take a metro or just have a short walk and accompany you on a 1 hour boat ride. This is the best way to see major landmarks such as the Louvre, Notre Dame, Musée d’Orsay and the Eiffel Tower.

  4. In one of the Paris cafes,  we’ll go over the city map, highlighting neighborhoods and monuments worth visiting and giving you tips and tricks on dining etiquette, avoiding the crowd and surviving the French.

  5. At the end of your introduction tour, we can return you to your hotel, give you directions on how to get back on your own or leave you to enjoy the rest of your day in Paris.

TIP: Please note that if you are flying long distance flight, which will relate to jet leg, rest a little bit before you take the introduction tour. This way you’ll enjoy it much more and be able to soak-up all the information we are going to give you.

Time your Introduction tour at least 4 hours after your arrival in the hotel.
