Getting to Disneyland Paris

The primary attraction of Disneyland are numerous fun rides and here are the top 10 you should take.

1. Space Mountain (Discoveryland)

Take the journey into Outer Space and take a mission on Space Mountain Mission 2, one of the best

rides at Disneyland Paris!  It is based on the Jules Vern novel “From the Earth to the Moon” and it

catapults you into darkness past shooting stars and celestial satellites at a speed of 56 km per hour.

Not to be missed. Fastpass available. Height restriction (1m32).

2. The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror  (Walt Disney Studios Park)

This ride is based on the TV anthology series, the Twilight Zone, takes place in the fictional Hollywood Tower Hotel in Hollywood, California. It stands at nearly 200 feet and features several fast drops.

You are shuffled into a seemingly ordinary hotel service lift and transported from level to level being shown a brief back story in which people mysteriously disappeared. The lift stops at the top and then drops you down. Your stomach will be up in your throat - not for everyone.  Fastpass also highly recommended.

3. Pirates of the Caribbean (Adventureland)

Enjoy a six-minute cruise through the darkness with animated pirates invading a Spanish fortress.

You can also try the 360-degree looping roller-coaster or run around the Adventure Isle and Pirate’s Beach nice playgrounds with climbing equipment.

4. Big Thunder Mountain (Frontierland)

This is the Wild West land where you’ll find the Big Thunder Mountain, a tower of red rock with a roller coaster twisting around it. Fastpass highly recommended.

5. Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster starring Aerosmith (Walt Disney Studios park)

This is probably the coolest and fastest ride in Disneyland Paris. It accelerates from 0 to 57 miles per hour in 2.8 seconds. Riders experience 4.5 G - more than an astronaut does on a Space Shuttle launch!. After that, the ride gets smoother while you get to listen to Aerosmith’s greatest hits. Pick up a fastpass ticket.

  1. 6.Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast (Discoveryland)

This is an interactive ride, where you use the laser pistols to shoot down baddies, earning points that are totted up as you go along. Good fun for all ages. Get there early or take a fastpass.

  1. 7.It's A Small World (Fantasyland)

Take the boat journey through the It’s a Small World ride, designed mostly for small children.
